Macallan 2005 GM

Cigar box and mahogany aromas aplenty. Walnuts, almonds and dried fruits add with each time you go near the glass. This is an incredibly joyous and giving tawny, very much in fitting with the celebration that it was made to commemorate. On tasting the balance is glorious, this is so easy to drink, but at the same time has so much complexity. A walnut whip elevated with caramel and dark chocolate.
