After ten years, Blue Hanger – one of Berry Bros. & Rudd’s most celebrated creations – is back with The 14th Edition. Named after William “Blue” Hanger – the impeccably dressed 18th-century customer whose refined palate inspired the original blend – this release continues a tradition of excellent cask selection, meticulous blending and shining character. The 14th Edition is a marriage of aged malt whiskies, the youngest of which is 26 years old. The blend was composed from seven casks: six ex-Bourbon hogsheads and one ex-Sherry butt. Tempting milk chocolate and caramel notes preface the orchard fruit and baking spice flavours on the palate. Bottled in limited quantities, the 14th Edition will not be repeated.
