В большинстве текстовых отзывов виски описывается как удачное сочетание характерных нот Bowmore с шерри. В носах и вкусах упоминаются дым и торф, шерри, шоколад и какао, изюм и сухофрукты, карамель, орехи, кожа и табак, пепел, а также специи. Некоторые отмечают долгий и насыщенный финиш с дымом, пеплом, шоколадом, орехами и сухофруктами. Есть сопоставления с классической версией 18 Deep & Complex, причём в одном отзыве указано, что в этой версии больше пепла на языке при хорошо сбалансированных дыме и торфе. Один отзыв называет виски «очень торфяным и сложным», другой — что он «действительно говорит» с автором, третий — что он выше 15-летнего и на очень высоком уровне. Вместе с тем встречаются и критические замечания. Один отзыв считает виски «неплохим, но абсолютно несбалансированным» и слишком дорогим; другой жалуется на сильную фильтрацию, «мягкое водянистое» ощущение во рту, нехватку мощности и маслянистости и слишком короткий финиш, который, по мнению автора, портит впечатление. All in all not bad, but absolutely unbalanced. Way too expensive, glad I only bought a tasting-sample. Nose ok, taste odd.

Nose: Lots of nice and structured smoke and moist peat, salty leather and wet tobacco, all perfectly combined with sherry sweets, lots of chocolate and caramel, nuts, dark fruits, raisins, multi-berry marmalade, spices. Taste: Compared to the classic 18 Deep & Complex, there is much more ash on the tongue, the smoke and peat are perfectly balanced, there is no alcohol here, the great atmosphere of sherry, chocolate, nougat, nuts, raisins in syrup, fruit marmalade shines through , spices. Finish: light bonfire smoke, ash, sweets, chocolate, cocoa, nougat, Nusmbeiser chocolate with hazelnuts, spices, cinnamon.

Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry barrels were chosen for the maturation of the single malt. This Bowmore is dedicated to the DB Mk III, which, in addition to its technical capabilities, was also decisive for the typical Aston Martin look. This bottling was bottled exclusively for Travel Retail.

Solid amount of burnt tires ( think Ledaig 18 batch 3), peat and some sense of the box of Tic Tac Orange. After a long time a Bowmore that really speaks to me.

Very tasty combination of the typical Bowmore notes with pleasant sherry. For me, 18 is well above 15 and at a very high level. 86-90 – Wow, really good one, need a bottle

The whisky is quite neat. However, this drop is available as an 18-year-old Deep & Complex standard bottling for well under € 100. The willingness to pay more than 100 € more for a different cardboard box and a label than for the standard bottling with the same content shows how crazy the market has become. If I had taken the price-performance ratio into account, the whisky would get a maximum of 55 points from me. Anyone who currently buys the whisky for € 200 will be annoyed when the next margin comes on the market and the prices are back at half. Diageo showed the way with the GOT series ...

Нос	88	Smoke and peat immediately, then raisins, sherry notes. Slightly alcoholic aroma, there is tar, leather. Lots of smoked flavors.

Open the bottle and you will be greeted with sweet aromas of dark chocolate and caramel, followed by coconut and date aromas in the cup. On the palate, you can feel orange peel and roasted coffee beans, then smoky. The aftertaste is long and rich.

Bowmore quit like this one i wold be a lot better if it was not so heavy filterd, yes you can taste it

Shame about the whisky Bowmore is incapable of not separating a good PX flavor in front of a smoky puddle. PX and smoke is worse than cat and mouse. Just a huge shit with the smoke. It was a big disappointment. As an Aston Martin driver and PX fan, I bought it twice with great pleasure. Bullshit - Bowmore. You are just idiots. In contrast to Glenallachie, they are worlds better and have PX whisky under control. Only the Laphroaig PX is even worse. Fortunately, a visitor drank it up. This one is a really disappointing booze, despite the beautiful color. How can you mess up a great PX distillate like that! This is currently the worst in my portfolio. Let them learn from the great Glenallachie PX how PX whisky should taste. The 2006s are very good - 12-15 year olds. and cheap (compared to the Chichi's)
